The transformer industry accelerates the integration of high-energy-consuming products will withdraw from the stage

On June 9 last year, the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China issued the GB20052-2013 "Three-phase Distribution Transformer Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades" announcement, which was implemented on October 1, 2013, and at the same time, the application for energy-saving certification will also be closed before December 31, 2013.

According to the announcement, the three-phase distribution transformer standard has increased the content of energy efficiency grades compared with the old standard, increased the energy efficiency limit value of transformers, and deleted the provisions on "target energy efficiency limit value". From October, three-phase distribution transformers will implement new energy efficiency standards. The new energy efficiency standards put forward higher energy efficiency requirements for products, some high-energy consumption products will be withdrawn from the market, and the chaos of low-price competition and quality decline caused by overcapacity in the transformer industry will be expected to be solved through industry integration to further improve concentration.

The "energy efficiency level" has become an important criterion

"In the past, the era of distribution transformers divided by S7, S9, S11, etc. is about to pass, and the future measurement of whether the transformer is energy-saving will be divided into energy efficiency first, second and third levels, and the energy efficiency standard has opened a new era of energy-saving transformers." Xue Jun, general manager of Baotou Julong Transformer Co., Ltd., said in an interview with reporters. The efficiency of the silicon steel core transformer used in China is 96%~99.7%, and the power consumed by the transformer itself is also considerable due to the large number. At present, the power consumed by all transformers in China accounts for 5%~10% of the country's power generation, and the transformer loss accounts for more than 60% of the distribution network loss.

Compared with the old version, the revised new version further improves the energy efficiency standard, cancels the target limit, and adds the energy efficiency level 3 index. In the loss requirements for 10 kV three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformers, the S11, S13 and S15 series are defined as the corresponding energy efficiency level 3, 2 and 1 respectively. At the same time, there is a further requirement to reduce the load losses in the energy efficiency level. For 10 kV three-phase dry-type distribution transformers, the dry-type S11 series is listed as the minimum energy efficiency limit for the lowest dry-type distribution transformer. According to the new energy efficiency standards for distribution transformers, products with energy efficiency above level 3 can be produced and sold in the market in the future, with level 2 or above as energy-saving products and level 1 as energy efficiency leader indicators.

As a supporting promotion policy, on November 20, 2012, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly issued the "Implementation Rules for the Promotion of High-efficiency and Energy-saving Distribution Transformers for Energy-saving Products Benefiting the People", which provides financial subsidies of 4 yuan ~ 30 yuan/kVA for energy-saving transformers. The promoted products are three-phase 10 thousand volt voltage level, non-excitation voltage regulation, energy efficiency level 2 and above, oil-immersed type with rated capacity of 30 thousand volt amperes ~ 1600 kVA and dry-type distribution transformers with rated capacity of 30 thousand volt amperes ~ 2500 kVA.
